Verification of the authenticity of a branded product by customers themselves

METHOD

An Optical Tag (RealDealTag) is attached to the product. The tag is readable with the customer’s smartphone ;
Each single item of goods corresponds to a single unique Tag (like the fingerprint of a person);
When reading the Tag, the user receives full information about the product, including the history of authenticity checks through the RealDealTag system;
Depending on the type of product, the Tag can serve for a one-time authenticity check or serve indefinitely.

WHAT RealDealTag IS

The system has been patented in the US (utility patent US10699180B2) and Russia (patent RU2714789)

An Optical Tag (RealDealTag) resembles a miniature lighter that produces a light beam with unique for each tag properties. Each Optical Tag’s beam is different from the others.

That beam is directed by user to any flat matte surface (product box, wall, a sheet of paper), such way a unique image is formed, captured by the smartphone’s camera, and sent to the RealDealTag database to be identified .
